My first taste of a short-term missions trip was in August 2015 when I joined my church team to go to Thailand, where we went to visit Karen Anglican Ministries at the Border. We also spent most of our time helping to teach English at Noh Bo Academy.
In July and August 2016, I embarked on my first medical missions trip under Serving In Mission Canada. I went to help at the Center for the Advancement of the Handicapped, which is in Mahadaga, Burkina Faso. I experienced much more than anyone could ever have expected me to, including myself.
